AdWords Keyword Wrapper Help
Built-In Help
Help Hints are available for most components of the AdWords Keyword Wrapper software. Simply hover the mouse cursor over an area of the program, such as a button or text field, and the Help Hint will be displayed in the status bar, which is the thin strip that is always visible at the bottom of the software window.
Overview
Both versions of AdWords Keyword Wrapper (Free and Gold) have the same goal in common: to help you take control of your AdWords campaigns by providing powerful tools to format and customize your keyword lists.
For example, if you are selling Barbi dolls in your online store, you will find that there are many popular terms that include the word "Barbi" that need special handling.
Please Note: While using the software, the status line (at the very bottom of the program) displays help information for items under the mouse arrow. Simply hover the tip of the mouse arrow over any functional part of the program, and the help hint will appear in the status line. Screenshots below mark areas of the software available only in the Gold version with a gold overlay.
Keyword Research
Lets start with a little keyword research! The Google AdWords Keyword Tool (at the time I wrote this) gives us the following matches for the word "Barbi":

- barbi twins

Google also gives the following good advice:
"These are popular queries that include your keyword. If you're showing your ads
on broad-matched keywords, these queries may trigger your ads. To increase your
click through rate, you should consider replacing your general keywords with any
relevant, more specific alternatives you see here. You should also identify any
irrelevant terms and add them as negative matches (otherwise your ads will show
for terms that don't pertain to your business). "
The bold green emphasis is our own, and here is the start of where our AdWords Keyword Wrapper software comes in. Please note that the "Browse For Keywords" Tab in our AdWords Keyword Wrapper software contains a link to The Google AdWords Keyword Tool, as well as other available keyword research tools.
[1] Add Keywords To List
You can select the full list of matches found above by The Google AdWords Keyword Tool, and copy and paste it into the Keyword Collection area on the "[1] Add Keywords To List" tab. Note that there is a "Paste From Clipboard" button available for you to use. Saved lists can also be loaded with the "Load From File" button. We will show you how to save full and partial lists to files later.

The Keyword Collection area is the raw paste board for keywords before you add them to your working list. At this point, we have a clean list, so we can simply click on "Add to Preview and Modify List". This will automatically advance us to the next tab if "Jump to Preview And Modify List" is selected.
By a clean list, we mean that the list has no blank lines, duplicates, or current Google AdWords formatting ... tools for dealing with such issues are available in the Clean Up Keyword Collection section (shown above highlighted in gold). The Clean Up Keyword Collection section is only available in the Gold version of AdWords Keyword Wrapper.
Note that when you press the Add to Preview and Modify List, the Keyword Collection clears, so that it is ready for the collection of new keywords.
Other options available on this tab allow you to control how successive pasting or loading will interact with text in the keyword collection area.
